The only help that the school is allowed to give on the state tests are things like someone can read the questions and answer for her but cannot tell her the correct answer and she can have extra time. The state test rules are very strictly enforced. In fact this may help you to know if she is learning what she is being taught. I worried about my son learning what he needed to know and whether he was being taught what other children his age was taught but when he took the state test he scored in the top 10 percent of the nation.
