Identifying different snakes?

ok i have been doing some research on some different australian venemous snakes and have trouble telling the difference between some of then. the eastern brown snake, the king brown, the fierce snake or inland tiapan. to me they all look the same. if it ever came to it how do i identify a snake that looks the same as 5-10 others??? there is probs a lot more that look the same that i havnt mentioned. im asking this because im just searching the venemous snakes of australia. thanks guys :)))
