Is my dog in labor right now?

Due to my calculations my dog should give birth around the 9th but for the past few days she has had this clear mucus discharge, her temperature has stayed around 99.7 until last night it dropped down to 98.5 but then today it rose back up to 99.6. She has been shivering all day and real restless. I thought the shivering is from the cold but not for sure. She is laying in her nest now and appears to be sleeping and snoring but with every snore I can see her rear end and quivering or kind of like it is contracting. Her is kind of pouched out there tonight but nothing is sticking out like a sac or anything. She seems real pitiful. I was dusting today and everytime I went to get down to dust the tables she would come and sit in front of me, like she was purposely trying to get in my way and get my attention. I would love on her but then go on about my business. I can't get a hold of my vet. He is on vacation and besides he isn't on call on the weekends anyways. He comes in during the week and leaves out on friday. I live back in the middle of no where and next nearest vet is a good 100+ miles away. SO plz help! ooohhh her back leg is shaking now but she is still sleeping. I don't know.. plz help me.. she is a pug and I fear I am going to have to intervene..
