My tonsils and adnoids are getting takin out this summer?

I don't know what to expect when i get them out. Do i have to get any needles put in me? Are they putting me to sleep? How long will it take? How long will i be sore? What should i eat?Will I be able to talk? How long will it be before i can talk? Will i lose weight? Will i sound different? Will my nose get smaller? Will i be able to breath through my nose finally? Ahhhhh! So many questions!
