How to bring WMM files into a Mac?

I have a Mac. Pretty soon I'll be getting my PC back for a day to retrieve my old PC files and bring them to the Mac. I have several videos in Windows Movie Maker that I would like to bring onto my Mac. Is this possible? Do I have to convert anything? I had saved quite a few as .wmv's, which are the ones I will want to be able to transfer. Are those the ones I'm able to bring to my Mac? I don't care if I can't edit them in iMovie, but can my computer view them, or if possible, say, upload them to YouTube, iTunes, or even iMovie?
